Let's talk New Years Resolutions...
Now, I know a lot of people dislike the term and it's kind of tradition to only stick to them for approximately two weeks before you fall back in to bad habits. And while I fit into both categories sometimes - towards the end of last year I kind of started making headway on resolutions I've set myself for years and I'm hoping to carry that spirit into 2021!
I think the most surprising of these new habits from 2020 was starting to exercise! Let's just say that the Uni weight gain was real and things needed to change, so last year I started to actually exercise and by the end of this year I'm aiming to hit my middle weight for my BMI.
Similar to exercise, in 2020 I fell back in love with reading (although I never did like exercise, but just run with it) and I started this blog and my Bookstagram account which I want to continue putting more effort into during 2021. I also want to hit my Good Reads goal of reading 35 books (I'm a slow reader) by the end of the year.
My skincare has been rather more miss than hit in 2020 and it really shows, so, as a combined goal in 2021 I want to have an actual routine down by the end of the year and get rid of my terrible reoccurring spots. In conjunction with this, I am aiming to drink more water - I feel like that is so many people's resolution, but I wasn't aiming to be original.
A small random one, but for years I've wanted to get my ears pierced and hopefully 2021 will be the year that this finally happens...
And finally, here's to trying new things and revisiting old loves. I used to really love doing my bullet journal so I wish to revisit this old hobby (and maybe finally start my scrapbooking of the European travel months from 2018). And my trying-new-things-thing of 2021 will be Twitch streaming. Watching Twitch streamers was probably my main source of entertainment in 2020, so I kind of want to give it a go myself!
Do you have any resolutions for 2021??
Thanks for reading, Rhi x.
